Minimally Invasive Robotic Surgery at Detroit Medical Center

Less pain. Less scarring. Less recovery time.
It’s amazing what more advanced technology can do.

With robotic surgery, less is more

Robot-assisted surgery turns complex, open surgeries into less-invasive procedures with more satisfied patients.

  • Less pain
  • Less scarring
  • Less recovery time
  • Less blood loss
  • Fewer complications

The da Vinci Xi robot allows Detroit Medical Center’s surgeons to operate through a few small incisions, using tiny, precise instruments and a high-definition 3D monitor to guide them. With that technology, we’re able to provide a better surgical experience that helps our patients get healthy and back on their feet sooner.

Advanced technology in expert hands

Providing exceptional care, outcomes, and patient experiences requires exceptional technology in the hands of exceptional doctors. That’s why we offer minimally invasive surgery with the cutting-edge da Vinci Xi surgical robot for fewer complications, less pain, and less recovery time for the patients we serve.

Detroit Medical Center is a leader in minimally invasive robotic surgery, performing thousands of procedures since 2010. The latest da Vinci Xi is now available at DMC Harper University Hospital, Hutzel Women's Hospital, Huron Valley-Sinai Hospital and Sinai-Grace Hospital. In addition, DMC Detroit Receiving Hospital also offer da Vinci robotic-assisted surgery.
