OB Nurse Navigator Program
We understand every pregnancy journey is unique, especially for those facing high-risk conditions. Our OB Nurse Navigator Program offers personalized support throughout your pregnancy, delivery and postpartum journey.
Led by experienced OB nurse navigators, our program helps to ensure every woman receives the guidance, access to resources and compassionate care needed to help achieve the healthiest outcome for both mom and baby.
High-Quality Care for High-Risk Pregnancies
It can be hard to enjoy the excitement of childbirth when you’re worried about the health of your child. Fortunately, giving birth in a DMC facility also gives you immediate access to the high-risk pregnancy specialists of Hutzel Birthing Center at Hutzel Women’s Hospital, The Harris Birthing Center at Huron Valley-Sinai Hospital, and the Sinai-Grace Hospital Birthing Center. These specialists can help relieve some of those worries with care before, during, and after delivery, designed around the unique demands of a high-risk pregnancy.
With prenatal testing, experienced obstetricians, and a one-of-a-kind Maternal Special Care Unit at Hutzel Women’s Hospital, we work to provide the highest-quality support for women with high-risk pregnancies.
Pediatric Specialty Services
Should your newest arrival need more advanced care after delivery, the Children's Hospital of Michigan, part of the DMC's family of specialty hospitals, provides the most advanced care available to newborns with complex or more critical healthcare needs. This allows us to maintain a continuum of care, including pediatric cardiology, pediatric infectious diseases and pediatric neurology.
