New: Open-Bore MRI at DMC Sinai-Grace Hospital and DMC Novi Imaging Center. This special equipment is perfect for all patients, including those with claustrophobia and obesity. It accommodates patients up to 500 lbs. (550 at Novi), and features one foot of headroom. Sixty percent of exams can be done with the patient's head outside the system. That's why DMC guarantees a scheduled MRI, CT Scan or ultrasound appointment in 72 hours with a referral or authorization during off-peak times (7 p.m. - 5 a.m.) or in seven to 10 days during peak times (5 a.m. - 7 p.m.)
Your test results are read by a team of academic, board-certified radiologists providing sub-specialty readings.
