Whether you’re expectant parents for the first time or the fifth, we offer multiple Family Life Education classes to help you prepare for life with a baby. We believe the birth experience is shared by the entire family.

Huron Valley-Sinai Hospital Classes

Birthing Class

This class prepares you and your partner to participate in the birthing process. Learn what to expect, including information on relaxation and comfort techniques, as well as pain management options, such as an epidural. This free class is offered virtually and in-person.

Bringing Baby Home

This class offers a close look at the newborn including behavior, nutrition, and hygiene. Safety issues such as signs of sickness, proper car seat use and back to sleep are included. This is a free class.

Breastfeeding

Breastfeeding is “natural” but not always easy the first weeks after birth. This class offers strategies for comfort and success. This is a free class.
