  • Qualified sign language and oral interpreters, high definition video remote interpreting services, over the phone interpreting, note takers, written and translated materials, telephone handset amplifiers, assistive listening devices and systems, telephone compatible with hearing aids, and televisions with captioning
  • Written information in multiple formats including large print, audio, accessible electronic formats, or other formats for visually impaired individuals
• Provides free language services to people whose primary language is not English, such as:
  • Qualified interpreters or a language line
  • Information written in other languages

If you need these services, please ask your nurse or other staff. You may also contact the Administrator on Call or the Information Office as listed above or contact DMC Detroit Receiving Hospital’s ADA Coordinator at 313-745-0434.

If you believe that DMC Detroit Receiving Hospital has failed to provide these services or discriminated in another way on the basis of race, color, national origin, age, disability or sex, you can file a grievance with:
