About Marian Mocanu
Dr. Marian Mocanu’s philosophy is based on building a personal relationship with each patient while providing individualized and compassionate cardiovascular care. He seeks to treat the patient, not the disease. In an effort to actively encourage his patients to participate in their care and healing process, he educates them about their disease, diagnosis and treatment options. Dr. Mocanu earned his medical degree from UMF Carol Davila in Bucharest, Romania. He completed his internal medicine residency at Norwalk Hospital in Norwalk, CT. He also completed a fellowship in cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology at the Detroit Medical center at Wayne State University. Dr. Mocanu’s clinical interests include preventive cardiology, congestive heart failure, and acute coronary syndrome. In his free time, Dr. Mocanu enjoys spending time with his family, traveling and learning about history.

Very friendly front desk and back office staff. Dr. Monacu himself, as usual, was very professional, yet treated you as if you were a dinner guest in his home. He explanation was thorough and easily understandable as he spoken in plain English not "medical English.
