As a Internal Medicine/Pediatrics physician, Dr. Matthew Wietrzykowski is passionate about building strong relationships with his patients. He uses his more than 20 years of diverse knowledge and experience to discuss and diagnose his patients’ health. Dr. Wietrzykowski prides himself on providing compassionate and individualized care in an environment where patients can feel at ease and trust that they are always a priority.
A native of Michigan, Dr. Wietrzykowski was raised in the Detroit area and attended the University of Detroit Jesuit High School and Academy. Dr. Wietrzykowski is a graduate of New York Medical College and completed both his internship and residency locally at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan. For the past five consecutive years, Dr. Wietrzykowski has received the Patients’ Choice Award which honors physicians who have received near perfect scores, as voted by patients. He has also been award the Compassionate Doctor Recognition from 2014-2016. When Dr. Wietrzykowski is not seeing patients, he enjoys traveling and spending time with his wife and son.

I love the entire team. Everyone there treats me with respect, concern, and genuine compassion. I am disabled they work expeditiously on my behalf when it comes to documents needs related disability most documents are time sensitive. Carla, the Nurse Practitioner, and front desk are assets of DMC. I have been a patient of Doctor Matt for many years I refuse to doctor hop I will change my insurance carrier before I'd pick a different doctor. Doctor Matt spends time asking questions and follows through with explaining in great deal what might or might not be happening to prevent a deterioration in health. After 20 years he in no way has lost his bedside manner. He cares about his patients. I have not always agreed with his recommendation or approach but I have always found his advice beneficial to my overall health. I am so grateful for the entire team. I wouldn't change anything. The office is clean, the rest room is clean, and the location is convenient. I know many people can write surveys some out of anger, and others sound great I am doing it because this is not a true good to be true, it's true because this team, and Doctor are true. I appreciate all of them and thank you for giving me the opportunity to express how I feel.
