Petra Gheraibeh, MD

"As a trauma orthopedic surgeon, my goal is to restore mobility and function to patients who sustain fractures and dislocations as a result of injuries such as motor vehicle accidents and falls.” Dr. Gheraibeh is a Board Certified General Orthopaedic Surgeon who treats a variety of musculoskeletal disorders including, but not limited to, hip and knee arthritis, fractures, hand, and shoulder dysfunction. Dr. Gheraibeh attended college at Vanderbilt University and completed medical school at the Medical University of South Carolina. She continued her orthopedic surgery training at Detroit Medical Center. Dr. Gheraibeh currently serves as the Chief of Orthopaedic Surgery at Sinai-Grace Hospital in northwestern Detroit. Dr. Petra Gheraibeh utilizes the most up-to-date evidence-based surgical and non-surgical techniques to implement a comprehensive individual treatment plan for each patient emphasizing the prevention of future injuries. Ultimately, her goal is to get patients back to doing what they love, whether it is returning to the football field or chasing grandchildren around the park.
