Breast cancer – and any breast concern – can be frightening for someone who is diagnosed or awaiting a diagnosis. I help alleviate that anxiety by being compassionate, informative, and available. I am factual with patients while delivering information with the care and sensitivity needed to start their healing. I emphasize that we are a team and that the best outcomes come from partnership. I do not offer false hope instead, I focus on what is possible and provide high-quality, patient-centered care.

Dr Bland first apologized for the delay which I was okay with. She explained what was going on with me and even drew a picture of my breast and the place where the cancer is. She gave me a thorough explanation and was talking to me all the time so I could understand. She asked me questions and allowed me to ask her questions so I could get a full understanding of what was going to happen.
