About Zeinab Bazzi
Dr. Zeinab Bazzi believes that exceptional care begins first and foremost with a judgment-free clinical environment. She aims to create a space for patients of all backgrounds and experiences to be their whole selves, understanding that clinical tests alone cannot capture the whole of a person’s health journey. In addition to excellent clinical insight and attention to detail, Dr. Bazzi considers the social determinants of health in her clinical assessments and counseling, helping patients navigate both acute and chronic conditions. The daughter of Lebanese immigrants, she spent the formative parts of her youth in Beirut, Lebanon, which inspired her comparative perspectives on healthcare and thinking about health disparities. Bringing those perspectives to bear on her training, Bazzi has led several initiatives promoting health equity and the importance of inclusion in clinical practice. When Dr. Bazzi is not treating patients, she enjoys international travel and drawing culinary inspiration from Detroit’s incredible food scene.

The very best part of seeing a Dr in my opinion is not feeling rushed through the appointment. Dr. Z. Bazzi ALWAYS takes the time to inform me as her patient a clear understanding while answering all of my questions &/or concerns. Getting in to see her when situations warrant an immediate visit is handled with speed & if a call from her or her staff is offered as a response to the situation those calls take place within very reasonable wait times.

I feel as Women our OB-GYN plays the biggest role in our health care . In my own personal opinion our PCP holds the second place position. During our lifetime most of our issues that result in us seeking medical care requires a visit to our OB-GYN. So the importance of our Doctors listening to our concerns & knowledgeably creating our treatment plans especially when we are fortunate enough to be the patient of a Female Dr. Who knows what we are describing better than one of us? An appointment with a Female OB-GYN makes an otherwise very uncomfortable exam just a tad bit less uncomfortable to be treated by a Woman that knows exactly what we are describing not through book learning but real life experience. I never thought I would ever find another Dr that was as intelligent as Dr. Brazil but I am very relieved to have found Dr. Zeinab Bazzi at the same office as Dr. Brazil was practicing . There is great importance establishing a re-pore to be able to express all of your concerns without the guilt and embarrassment that these uncomfortable Drs appointments consist of. Dr. Zeinab Bazzi is not only knowledgeable but a listener & those are qualities needed in all Doctors. I highly recommend her.

Dr. Bazzi was awesome. At my last gynecologist office I always felt uncomfortable and like my doctor was rushing to get out. Dr Bazzi took her time and made me feel really comfortable asking any and all questions that I had. She explained birth control options to me in a very clear and concise way and I felt comfortable and informed in my decision. She also was very personable which is important to me with a doctor that helps with such intimate things.
