About Abeer Berry
Dr. Abeer Berry’s philosophy is based on establishing a healthy doctor-patient relationship that is centered around open communication where conditions and treatments are fully understood. She is dedicated to treating patients in a holistic manner as she believes the mind and body are intertwined. Her ultimate goal is to improve clinical outcomes while fully involving patients to help them make well-informed decisions about their treatment. Dr. Berry grew up in southeastern Michigan. She was awarded a Distinguished Student Leader 4-year full-tuition scholarship for her undergraduate education. Dr. Berry received the Silver TOUCH Award for community service hours in medical school as she has a strong passion for giving back to her hometown community. She won the fellow-in-training poster presentation award at the Michigan chapter of the American College of Cardiology during her fellowship. Additionally, Dr. Berry participated in the American College of Cardiology Fellows in training jeopardy contest and won first place in the Michigan chapter and then went on to the national competition and made it to the semi-finals. Dr. Berry knew she wanted to be a doctor in high school with her combined interests in biological studies and excellent social skills. Dr. Berry is married with twin girls. When Dr. Berry is not treating patients, she likes to spend time with her family. She also enjoys running, reading, and traveling to new places.

Dr Barry goes above and beyond her care for my 91 year old Mother. Finally a Doctor who has her blood under control. The balancing of her medicines, which is a lot, to keep her blood pressure and congestive heart failure in balance. My first visit here and never having to deal with cardiac issues was somewhat nervous. The reception area staff was very pleasanteven smiling! When called into the room I was greeted and given explanation that si would have EKG and some questions. Dr Berry then came in with her assistants and I immediately felt I was in a good place. She asked a lot of questions, gave great answers in a clear way that I could understand and she listened!!! U never felt rushed. She did an exam and explained a plan of various testing that is necessary to determine a complete diagnosis. Upon leaving I was given full instruction sheets and the necessary request authorizations for various tests. I will no longer feel nervous visiting Dr Berry and staff..

I was extremely Impressed by Dr. Berry regarding her knowledge, & the clear way she explained everything while being professional & friendly. I left feeling very confident that I was In good hands. I have to say I have never visited a doctor's office that was run so efficiently & professionally. I look forward with confidence to my upcoming visit.

This is a very efficient operation -- I hardly sat down before I was admitted into the inner office. I was given the initial exam for covid-19 symptoms (okay), shown to an exam room and had my vitals taken immediately. Josie in the Coumadin clinic was excellent! she took a lot of time explaining the various options available to me for switching from warfarin, if I decide to do that. I have been coming to this office to get my Coumadin read for several years. Depending on whether the Coumadin clinic will continue to operate will affect my choice for future checks. Both Coumadin clinic nuruses - Josie & Stephanie Watts - have been top notch clinicians throughout the many years I have gone there. The DMC is lucky to have these two professionals represent the clinic.

There was a man who took me into the examining room. I have no idea who he was. But I'm guessing from your questions that he was a nurse or an assistant. He went out to my car for me and brought me in another oxygen tank. It is very hard for me to walk and the tanks are too heavy for me. That was very kind.
