Detroit Medical Center hospitals recognized for excellence in the treatment of stroke patients
DETROIT – Four Detroit Medical Center hospitals have been nationally recognized for excellence by the American Heart Association for stroke care: DMC Detroit Receiving Hospital, DMC Harper University Hospital, DMC Huron Valley-Sinai Hospital and DMC Sinai-Grace Hospital.
Each hospital received the American Heart Association’s 2026 Get With The Guidelines® - Stroke quality achievement award. The award recognizes the hospital’s commitment to ensuring stroke patients receive the most appropriate treatment according to nationally recognized, research-based guidelines, ultimately leading to more lives saved and reduced disability.
