Paula R. Autry, FACHE . was named CEO of DMC Sinai-Grace Hospital, effective June 30, 2014. With nearly 20 years of experience in executive level health care management, she has developed and led operational improvements in non-profit, academic and faith-based healthcare organizations. Autry previously was Chief of Staff/VP of Strategic Planning for Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta, GA. There she managed all operations and planning, including the strategic agenda for the School of Medicine, and key performance and financial indicators. From 2007 to 2012, Autry was president of Mount Carmel East Hospital in Columbus OH, a 399-bed hospital with 2,000-plus employees, more than 500 medical personnel and more than $1 billion in revenues. Previously, she was Executive Vice President/Administrator at Bon Secours Richmond Community Hospital in Virginia, and senior vice president at Erlanger Health System in Chattanooga, TN. Before that, she supervised 500 full-time employees and a $20 million operating budget at the University of South Alabama Medical Center in Mobile. Autry earned her Bachelor of Science in pre-med from the University of Notre Dame, and an MBA and MHA from Tulane University.
