Daniel Lee joined the Detroit Medical Center as Group Chief Strategy Officer in June of 2023.

Daniel has more than 10 years of experience in hospital settings, in both administration and consulting. Most recently, Daniel served as Senior Director of Procurement at Tenet in Dallas. Prior to joining Tenet in 2020, he was a Consulting Manager with Deloitte Consulting, LLP, in Dallas. Daniel’s experience also includes working as a Health Industries Advisory Senior Associate with PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP, in Dallas, and as a Hospital Administrative Resident at North Central Baptist Hospital in San Antonio.

He has demonstrated the ability to work effectively with healthcare executives, physicians and staff to identify problems and devise and execute solutions to achieve strategic objectives.

Daniel earned his undergraduate degree in biochemistry and economics, and his MBA at Baylor University in Waco, Texas.
