Jasmine's Delivery Story

Sep 28, 2020
Jasmine Price’s second pregnancy was going well. Her family was anxiously waiting 6 more weeks for Jasmine’s due date to welcome their baby boy. At only 29 weeks, Jasmine was admitted to DMC Hutzel Women’s Hospital for premature labor, and went in to labor again two weeks later. Their son received care in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and in time was moved to the Special Care Nursery for several weeks where he grew and thrived. Jasmine credits the Hutzel teams from OB-ED triage, Labor and Delivery, NICU and Special Care Nursery for the safe delivery of her son, their health and a comforting experience as they plan to return home soon with their growing family.

Disclaimer: All patients who are being admitted or are symptomatic will receive a COVID-19 test. We currently allow two support persons per patient.
