Breastfeeding Assistance and Education
Once your bundle of joy has arrived we will support your decision to breastfeed. While breastfeeding is natural, it is not always easy. To help facilitate this bond between mom and baby, we offer a Breastfeeding Class, which aims to educate
you on the benefits of breastfeeding, guide positioning and latch, answer common questions and concerns, share community resources, and teach basics of breast pumps and milk storage. We welcome partners interested in attending; their support
can be extremely helpful for new mothers. Once in the hospital we have 3 lactation consultants that round on our patients and provide hands-on assistance and tips to assist in making breastfeeding a successful experience for your family.
