New: Open-Bore MRI at DMC Sinai-Grace Hospital and DMC Novi Imaging Center. This special equipment is perfect for all patients, including those with claustrophobia and obesity. It accommodates patients up to 500 lbs. (550 at Novi), and features one foot of headroom. Sixty percent of exams can be done with the patient's head outside the system. Your test results are read by a team of academic, board-certified radiologists providing sub-specialty readings. DMC Advanced MRI locations accept most major medical insurance plans, and DMC will work with your doctor regardless of your privilege status, to assure timely access to your results and films.
