DMC Hospitals Recognized by U.S News & World Report

The Detroit Medical Center has once again been recognized by U.S. News & World Report for high- quality patient care.

DMC Harper University Hospital is nationally ranked at number 50 in the Adult Specialties National Rankings in Geriatrics.

In the Common Adult Procedure and Condition Ratings, Harper Is rated as High Performing in Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, Heart Failure, Kidney Failure and Pneumonia.

In addition to Harper, three other DMC hospitals were ranked in the Common Adult Procedure and Condition category.

  • DMC Detroit Receiving Hospital – Diabetes and Heart Failure
  • DMC Huron Valley-Sinai Hospital - Heart Attack
  • DMC Sinai-Grace Hospital - Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, Heart Failure and Stroke

U.S. News evaluated each hospital’s performance using a variety of measures such as survival rates, complication rates, patient experience and level of nursing care.
