Our program fosters the education of fellows through academic conferences and lectures. Faculty and fellow led conferences are held two days a week covering hematology and oncology topics along with a weekly journal club and monthly hematology board review series. Fellows are also encouraged to attend weekly subspecialty multidisciplinary tumor board meetings which occur multiple times a week. Fellows also enjoy access to online medical literature, textbooks, and other educational resources through Wayne State University library.
