Home to one of Michigan’s largest adult burn care centers. An accredited Comprehensive Stroke Center (CSC) for excellence in the care of stroke patients.
DMC Harper University Hospital Serving midtown Detroit with a walk-in emergency room. Backed by cardiovascular, surgical, neuro, stroke, obstetrics, orthopedic, and ER specialists, Harper delivers care 24/7 to quickly understand each illness and injury to deliver the right care. Designated as a Primary Stroke Center.
DMC Huron Valley-Sinai Hospital Level III Trauma Center and Primary Stroke Center located in Commerce Township which provides prompt assessment, resuscitation, surgery, intensive care and stabilization of injured patients. Nationally recognized for top quality measures in multiple service lines, including cardiovascular, diagnostic imaging, OB/GYN, rehabilitation and stroke care.
DMC Sinai-Grace Hospital Level II Trauma Center and Primary Stroke Center located in Northwest Detroit which can initiate care for all injured patients. A trauma surgeon is available to respond rapidly 24 hours a day. Nationally recognized for top quality metrics in multiple service lines, including cardiovascular, diagnostic imaging OB/GYN and stroke care.
Children’s Hospital of Michigan – Detroit A nationally ranked children’s hospital designated as a Level I pediatric trauma center for the highest quality trauma care for all injured pediatric patients. The Burn Center at Children’s Hospital of Michigan is the only burn center in the state that is dedicated to pediatrics and verified by the American Burn Association (ABA) and the Committee on Trauma of the American Colleges of Surgeons (ACS). ER is staffed by fellowship-trained pediatric emergency physicians, pediatricians and nurses. When emergency transport is needed for pediatric patients, the PANDA One critical care transport team provides 24/7 specialized transportation care via helicopter or dedicated ambulance, for critically ill patients from referring hospitals across Michigan and neighboring states.
Children’s Hospital of Michigan – Troy Nationally ranked Children’s Hospital of Michigan also offers a convenient location in Oakland County. Like the Main Campus, it offers skilled pediatric care and an experienced staff for emergencies big and small.
Access to Specialty Care at the DMC
DMC Hutzel Women’s Hospital Michigan’s first hospital for women, Hutzel specializes in traditional and high-risk pregnancies. For moms-to-be, the Maternal Special Care Unit is the only unit of its kind in the tri-county area. If babies need extra attention, a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and a Special Care Nursery provide more advanced care. Gynecology services include innovative therapies, minimally invasive surgical options and specialty programs.
DMC Heart Hospital Cardiovascular teams care for patients suffering from all forms of heart and vascular disease. Services include cardiac catheterization labs newly renovated, electrophysiology labs, cardiac swing labs, minimally invasive prep/recovery bays, cardiac testing suite (including EKG, echocardiogram, stress echo, and TEE procedures), nuclear medicine gamma cameras, diagnostic prep/recovery bays and outpatient specialty surgery.
