Group Chief Human Resource Officer
Quadiru (Quad) Kent joined the Detroit Medical Center (DMC) as the Group Chief Human Resource Officer (CHRO) in October 2018. He oversees the Detroit Market as well as serving as the CHRO for the DMC Rehabilitation Institute of Michigan. Prior to joining the DMC he served as the Vice President, Human Resource Operations for Conifer Health Solutions, which provides revenue cycle management outsourcing and value-based care solutions to healthcare systems, physician groups, employers and health insurance companies.
Before joining the healthcare industry, Mr. Kent worked for Walmart for 12 years; most recently as the Vice President of Human Resources.
Mr. Kent received a bachelor’s degree from Wabash College in Crawfordsville, Ind., and a jurist doctorate degree from Indiana University School of Law, where he was honored with the American Jurisprudence Award in Labor Law.
