Brian Taylor joined the DMC as Group Director of Communications and Media Relations in June of 2019. In this position, he is responsible for all aspects of internal and external communications. His responsibilities include serving as the primary contact for system communications and ensuring our earned media strategies continue to build and enhance DMC's strong reputation within our community.

Brian brings more than 20 years of healthcare communications experience to the role. Before joining the DMC, he served as the Senior Communications Strategist with Ascension Michigan, where he was responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive media relations and crisis communications strategies. Prior to Ascension, he served as the Media Relations Supervisor for Beaumont Health.

Before joining the healthcare industry, Brian, a native of Michigan, worked as a television journalist.
