Fellowship in Genitourinary Trauma and Reconstruction

This is a one-year position for a qualified candidate who has finished accredited urology residency and is eligible to obtain medical licensure in the state of Michigan. Available July 1, 2011, and yearly after that. The Fellowship concentrates on clinical and operative aspects of genitourinary trauma and male urologic reconstruction. We perform more than 100 reconstructive cases a year, mostly complex urethroplasty. You will also have Attending privileges at DMC Detroit Receiving Hospital, one of the nation’s premier Level I Trauma Centers, and have the opportunity to operate “solo” at the attending level.

Fellowship in Andrology and Complex Male Penile Prosthesis
Detroit Medical Center
One-year position for qualified candidate who has finished accredited urology residency and is eligible to obtain medical licensure in the state of Michigan. Available July 1, 2010, and yearly after that. The Fellowship concentrates on clinical and operative aspects of andrology and complex penile prosthesis surgery. We are a regional center of excellence for complex penile prosthesis and perform many redo, replacement, post-infection and otherwise complex penile prosthesis cases--one of few centers worldwide where you can gain such experience. We perform more than 100 reconstructive cases a year. We also have a robust Andrology service where you will learn male assisted reproduction techniques including vasovasostomy. You will also have Attending privileges and have the opportunity to operate “solo” at the attending level.
