Q.	What is the DMC Employee Auto Purchase Discount Program?

The program offers DMC employees and physicians the ability to purchase or lease eligible vehicles at discounted prices:

Daimler Chrysler: 1 percent below factory invoice.

Ford Motor Company: Ford vehicles--4 percent over Ford Employee A Plan (equal to about 2 percent below manufacturer's invoice price to dealer) Volvo vehicles--2 percent over A-Plan. Mazda: S-Plan

General Motors Corporation: 4 percent over GM Employee Program (GMS price printed on dealer invoice. DMC price = GMC plus 4 percent.)

Q.	Who is eligible to participate?

A.	All full-time, part-time, and contingent employees and physicians who work at Detroit Medical Center operating units are eligible to participate in all of the supplier discount offers. DMC spouses and DMC retires only are eligible to take advantage of the Ford Motor Company discount offer.

Q.	Can I participate in the program if I live in Canada?

A.	The Ford Motor Company supplier discount program is open to both U.S. and Canadian residents. The Daimler Chrysler and General Motors Corporation supplier discount programs are open only to residents of the United States at this time.

Q.	Which Daimler Chrysler vehicles are eligible?

A.	All new and unused Chrysler, Plymouth, Dodge or Jeep vehicles and SUVs. Select Chrysler and Dodge minivans, Viper, Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo Sport and all Mercedes-Benz models are not eligible for this program.

Q.	Which Ford Motor Company vehicles are eligible?

A.	All new and unused Ford, Mercury, Lincoln, Jaguar, Volvo and Mazda cars, SUVs, and trucks. Aston-Martin vehicles are not eligible for this program.

Q.	Which General Motors Corporation vehicles are eligible?

A.	All new and unused GM passenger cars, SUVs, minivans, light-duty trucks. SAAB and Saturn vehicles also included. EV1 and Hummer vehicles are not eligible under this program and some other models may have limited availability, especially Corvette.

Q.	When does the program become effective?

A.	Immediately.

Q.	How long are the discounts available?

A.	This offer is ongoing for Daimler Chrysler and Ford Motor Company vehicles. The General Motors program is available through September 30, 2002.

Q.	Can I receive these discounts from any dealer?

This program is available through all participating dealers and is voluntary on the part of the dealers. Dealer participation is on a vehicle-by-vehicle basis. Please inform your dealer of your intention to use the DMC Employee Auto Purchase Discount Program during the first contact with your dealer. If for some reason your dealer elects not to participate, you may visit another dealer. In addition, the three automotive companies reserve the right to change or eliminate these discounts at any time.

Q.	Can I combine this discount with current incentives?

Yes, you can combine discounts with current incentives. See your dealer for details on current eligible incentives or visit the Web sites below.

Q.	How do I purchase or lease a Daimler Chrysler vehicle?

Here's what you need to do:

To obtain your Customer Identification Number, call 1-888-444-4321. Identify yourself as a DMC employee and tell the operator that you want to participate in the Daimler Chrysler Affiliate Rewards Program." Give the operator the following DMC Company Code Number: F15403.

Take your Customer Identification Number, DMC identification badge and recent DMC pay stub to the participating dealership.

Q.	How do I purchase or lease a Ford Motor Company vehicle?

Here's what you need to do:

To obtain your Personal Identification Number (PIN), call 1-877-XPLAN-00 (U.S.) or 1-877-294-7554 (Canada) or log on to www.fordpartner.com Identify yourself as a DMC employee and tell the operator that you want to participate in the "X-Plan." Give the operator the following DMC Company Code Number: DMC01, your Social Security number, name, address, state and zip code.

Visit participating dealer and identify yourself as a Supplier Partner Recognition participant.

Provide the dealer with your Social Security number and PIN to confirm eligibility. Provide dealer with DMC identification badge, recent DMC pay stub or W-2 form.

Q.	How do I purchase or lease a General Motors Corporation vehicle?

Here's what you need to do:

To order a GM Form #1753, visit www.gmsupplerdiscount.com or call 1-800-960-3375. Identify yourself as a DMC employee and tell the operator you want to participate in the "GM Supplier Discount Program." Provide your name, Social Security number, home address and phone number.

FAX to 1-888-358-7312 or mail a photocopy of your DMC identification badge or current pay stub to: GM Supplier Discount, Program Headquarters, P.O. Box 33085, Detroit, MI 48233-5085.

Your approved GM Form 1753 should arrive in approximately 3-5 business days. It is valid through September 30, 2001.

Q.	I recently bought/leased a new vehicle. Can I still apply the supplier discounts?

A.	Previous purchases/leases are not eligible.
