Huron Valley-Sinai Hospital is expanding its Emergency Department to add 5,000 square feet and 10 treatment bays for patients. In addition to the expansion, the existing Emergency Department facilities will be updated and renovated. The project will cost approximately $2.6 million and is expected to be completed by Fall 2006.
The Emergency Department expansion will allow HVSH to increase capacity and also to provide more privacy in patient treatment areas and offer specialized pediatric emergency services. Huron Valley-Sinai’s emergency patients have consistently ranked the hospital well-above the 90th percentile locally and nationally for satisfaction with emergency services. These rankings were achieved in the Press-Ganey patient satisfaction surveys for hundreds of hospitals across the country.
