Detroit Receiving Hospital ranked among the top emergency rooms in metropolitan Detroit in a poll conducted by the National Research Corporation (NRC), a national leader in healthcare performance measurement and the market research industry.
NRC surveyed approximately 170,000 households to rate their perceptions of healthcare in this community. As a result of this hospital-specific measurement, DRH's emergency department was selected as one of the best, based on patient perceptions. Detroit Receiving Hospital is being recognized with NRC's high honor the "Gold Seal."
"For years, we have strived to be at the forefront of trauma care and emergency medicine-not just regionally, but nationally," said Dr. Brooks Bock, Detroit Receiving Hospital's chief of emergency medicine. "We at Detroit Receiving are very honored to attain this type of recognition from NRC and will continue to uphold the standards set forth by this organization."
