Breastfeeding Class

Class is taught by an experienced nurse trained as a lactation counselor. Class covers benefits of breastfeeding, how breastfeeding works, getting off to a good start in the hospital, skin-to-skin, working while breastfeeding and sources of support. Please bring a newborn-sized doll or stuffed animal.

Registration is required. Walk-ins will not be accepted. Only enroll the mother to be. Mothers may bring a support person. Class sizes are limited so please register early.

In the main driveway, make an immediate right into the parking garage, which is marked with a large "E." We recommend parking on levels 2, 3, or 4 and take the elevator to Level 1. You may also valet park for $12 ($5 for handicapped with state issued plate/hang tag).

Please arrive 10 minutes early to allow time for parking and walking. Enter through the Harper main lobby and check in at the Information Desk.
